Pulque "La Lucha" Coming To The Los Angeles Market Soon!
File this under co0L!

La Lucha brand Pulque, yes, Pulque is coming to L.A. Already available in Texas, Robert Mendoza of boulder Imports has informed me that La Lucha will be for sale in the L.A. market shortly after March 03, 2008. Just in time for summer. As most of you know, I spent 21 days in Tenochtitlan last summer and visited Teotihuacan a few times. Each time I had the most pleasant experience of tasting natural Pulque - 2% alcohol by volume and 24 hours old. The taste was a delectable treat. And under the hot Teotihuacan sun, refreshing to say the least. My taste buds are definitely looking forward to a nice cold bottle of Pulque La lucha. As they say in EastLos, "p'arriba, p'abajo, p'alcentro - P'ADENTRO!"

I have a few friend that say this really good, but high in calories. I'd try it. I need to put on a few pounds.

Im really proud of this note, I used to work at Pulque La Lucha and is very satisfying that people accept our product. Be sure that its made with the highest quality controls, and of course with love and passion for every bottle that is produced.
thank's!

There is the really great liquor store in East L.A. that carries a wide variety of beer and liquor from different parts of the world. I recently went to Atotonilco, Jalisco and had some Pueblo Libre tequila and some 1921 Crema de Tequila out there. I had a hard time finding them even in Guadalajara but when I got back I found both at Ramirez Liquor. I've recently checked and they also carrying Pulque now.
Check out their website and type in a search pulque...

Hey it's in Texas! Interesting taste. It's technically a wine with fermented sugars rather than the starch of beer. Acquired taste.
