THE BOLIVARIAN STATEMENT

The time has come for stolen property to
be returned to its legitimate owners

A planet where we might
live in universal brotherhood

1. The dignified inhabitants of this Abya Yala (American) continent have been struggling for centuries to re-establish SUMAK KAWSAY (Living Fully) that was seized from us by the invaders and subsequent colonizers. Throughout the ages they have murdered worthy leaders, usurped the wealth of the people and at the height of their greed, violated all human rights and those of Pachamama [Mother Earth], aided and abetted by members of the religious hierarchies who forged accords with the political and economic power in each historical period.

2. After 516 years, the neo-invaders and conquistadores seek to abort the libertarian rebirth in Latin America, and so the descendants of the murderers and usurpers return with their neoliberal policies, provoking new genocides and larcenies.

Chris Blatchford Discusses His New Book "The Black Hand"

Chris Blatchford Discusses His New Book, The Black Hand which focuses on Rene Boxer Enriquez's former life as a Mexican Mafia ( eme ) member.

Special Comment by Mexitli,

The war on drugs created the (so called) "Mexican Mafia." Prohibition on everything from marijuana to heroin has been used as a tool to remove our young men from our neighborhoods for decades. I have been calling this "the wholesale incarceration of Chicano males" for many years now. The war on drugs is nothing more than a ruse for Mexican ethnocide. The war on drugs is a war waged on the Mexican people on both sides of the border by the elitist European North Americans.

"Twilight's last gleaming": The disintegration of the USA

by
Ernesto Cienfuegos
La Voz de Aztlan

Los Angeles, Alta California - September 26, 2008 - (ACN) The most powerful empire that ever existed is collapsing. The collapse began when the USA armed forces were humiliated in Vietnam and the world witnessed the extraordinary event that took place in Saigon on April 30, 1975. That day saw the defeat of the mighty US military machine by a humble but extraordinarily courageous and intelligent people that US drill sergeants in boot camps called "the gooks". That day saw the disorganized evacuation of all Americans along with hundreds of South Vietnamese collaborators from the rooftop of the US Embassy in Saigon.

The defeat of the USA by the Vietcong and the North Vietnamese regular army led by the military genius General Vo Nguyen Giap commenced a series of cascading events that has culminated in the present sorry state of affairs in Washington and Wall Street.

No Passports, No Freedom of Movement for Many Mexican-Americans

By Roberto Lovato

Texas native David Hernandez, a former marine who served his country in different parts of the world, can no longer see the world after his country denied him a passport.

Hernandez and other residents living in and around the U.S.-Mexico border are plaintiffs in a class-action lawsuit alleging that, in denying them passports, the U.S. State Department is engaging in a new kind of racial discrimination: non-citizen profiling.

"This all started when I sent them (the U.S. State Department) my passport and they sent me a letter saying that it wasn't sufficient. So, I sent them all kinds of documents -a baptismal certificate, military records, pictures of me in the pre-kindergarten, a copy of my grandmother's birth certificate that showed that she was an American citizen," he said, adding, "and that still wasn't enough. I knew something was wrong when they even started asking me for things like Census documents from the 1930's that don't even exist."

The Tanton Files: FAIR Founder’s Racism Revealed

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The Bentley Historical Library at the University of Michigan is an unassuming place, more like a small-town library than a research institute. But hidden away in 17 cardboard boxes deep inside the simple facility are the papers of John Tanton, the retired Michigan opthamologist who has been the most important figure in the modern American anti-immigration movement for three decades. The papers, which include more than 20 years of letters from the founder of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) and a batch of other nativist groups, contain explosive material about Tanton’s beliefs. They also show that FAIR, where Tanton still serves as a member of the board, has been well aware of Tanton’s views and activities for years.

1, Go to Hell
2, Take your appology and put it where the sun doesnt shine!

Johnston County Sheriff Steve Bizzell apologized Sunday for his portrayal of the Mexican immigrant community in a News & Observer article about his county's growing Hispanic population.

The apology came in a one-paragraph statement e-mailed to the newspaper shortly before 5 p.m. after Sunday morning's newspaper included a front-page article in which Bizzell criticized illegal immigrants for "breeding like rabbits" and declared, "Mexicans are trashy."

McCormack Is A Lying Son Of A Bitch U.S. Expels Venezuelan Ambassador

"No country has ever improved the well-being of its citizens by antagonizing neighbors and refraining from fruitful integration with the world's democracies."

McCormack, the Vladimir Posner (government bitch) of the Bush Administration, mouthed off the party line this A.M.

"This reflects the weakness and desperation of these leaders," McCormack said of Chavez and the embattled Bolivian president, Evo Morales. He suggested that the expulsion of the U.S. ambassadors was meant to distract attention from the countries' regional and domestic difficulties."

Chavez won re-election by 70% of the vote. Evo Morales is battling right wing insurgent terrorists who want secession for one of Bolivias most resource rich provinces. Rather than the democracy the that has finally come to Bolivia.

Read more crap here:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080912/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/us_venezuela

I wonder if McCormack has any idea what the hell he is doing for a buck.

Go to hell, shitty yankees, Hugo Chavez expels US ambassador

LA VOZ DE AZTLAN

President Hugo Chavez expels US ambassador

After uncovering a "coup de etat" plot against him engineered by
traitors in collusion with the CIA and the Bush Administration,
President Chavez ordered US Ambassador Patrick Duddy to
leave his country within 72 hours.

"Go to hell, shitty yankees, we are a dignified people, go to hell
100 times," Chavez shouted at a political rally to thousands of
roaring supporters. "You are not going to do to me what you did
to President Allende of Chile," he added.

Chavez's expulsion of Duddy came a day after Bolivian President
Evo Morales, also expelled U.S. Ambassador Philip Goldberg
from his country. Bolivia is the country where CIA assassins killed
Comandante Ernesto "Che" Guevara in 1967.

Bush's border fence to cost extra $400 million

EILEEN SULLIVAN, AP

WASHINGTON (Map, News) - The Bush administration needs an extra $400 million to complete its fence along the country's southwestern border, and government investigators say that may not even be enough to finish construction by the end of this year.

To complete the 670-mile fence - already half built - the administration has asked Congress to approve the use of $400 million that was set aside for surveillance technology projects along the U.S.-Mexico border, Jayson Ahern, the deputy commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, told The Associated Press Tuesday.

Higher costs of fuel, steel and labor has led to the $400 million shortfall, Ahern said.

"If we run out of money, unfortunately the construction will have to stop," Ahern said. He said it is not known exactly how much extra it will cost to build each mile of the fence, because the costs differ due to varying terrain and environmental issues.

The Need for Speed - New Drupal Site Updated

Esteemed guests,

ColumnaDeAztlan.com has been updated and we are back online (as you can see).

We were down for about 1 day. Normally updates do not take that long. But Drupal has released a much lighter and FASTER code and I had to take the time to update all the modules etc etc.

Now more people can visit Columna de Aztlan without slowing each other down.

More connections-FASTER. And that's what it's all about.

So anyway, thank you for your patience.

Enjoy the site!

Alaska Sounds like Aztlan -- Secessionist Go Mainstream

by
Roberto Lovato
Sep 04, 2008

NEW YORK -- Sarah Palin's repetition (5 times) of the word "Alaska," her home state, during her acceptance speech last night may actually have sounded to some Latinos like "Aztlan," the mythical homeland of the Aztecs. If Lou Dobbs and other political prognosticators are right, Latinos' interpretation of the Republican vice presidential nominee's references to her home state were not simply the product of bad English-to-Spanish translation (Spanish language media's payback for years of garbled, sometimes horrific, Spanish-to-English translations in mainstream media, perhaps?), but something else, something much more nefarious: the mainstreaming of secessionist sentiments.
